On Monday, April 22, 2024, LINKUP USU conducted a workshop on "Case Script Development for Implementing Case Method Learning in Participative Classes" for undergraduate and applied bachelor programs. The event invited program study chairs, secretaries, and curriculum team members as participants. The keynote speaker was Mr. Sukma Putra, S.E., M.Ed., (Ph.D. Candidate) from BINUS Case Center.
Case scripts are a crucial component in implementing the Case Method Learning approach. They enable diverse evaluation methods like in-depth case studies, presentations, and report writing. This approach helps lecturers assess students' understanding comprehensively and provide constructive feedback to enhance their performance.
During the workshop, participants collaborated to identify challenges and opportunities in creating case scenarios that stimulate critical thinking and meaningful classroom discussions.
This method's implementation is a key indicator for both national and international accreditation, significantly contributing to achieving USU's performance targets in IKU 7. It also supports IKU 1 by ensuring graduates meet learning outcomes, making them better prepared and more employable. Additionally, this contributes to global rankings, particularly in achieving SDG4, Quality Education.
